The Hotspot of the Week is Mostra Coffee, a family-owned cafe located in the Mt. Carmel Shopping Plaza in North County San Diego, CA.
I am a creature of habit. Part of my daily routine includes making coffee at home in the morning. When my Sigma Kappa pledge sisters (and one of my college roommates) came for a visit, we ended up meeting up for coffee early in the morning. My friend, Joyce, suggested we meet at Mostra Coffee in Carmel Mountain.
This craft coffee shop is locally owned and have many loyal patrons. I had never been before, but I know a lot of my friends have. Their Instagram posts tell me so… And that’s because the coffee at Mostra is delicious AND beautiful. It’s truly handmade, craft coffee.
I opted for one of their signature espresso drinks. It was REALLY hard choose because they all sounded good. Ultimately I went with the Bibingka Crème Brulee. It’s probably the most textured coffee I had ever had before and it was amazing! Yum yum yum!
