4S Ranch is a master planned community originally developed by the Ralphs family — who founded the grocery store chain of the same name.¹ The biggest landmark is the retail center that includes the 4S Ranch Village Center, 4S Commons Town Center, and the 4S Health Center. Del Sur is east of 4S Ranch where Camino Del Norte becomes Camino Del Sur. The neighborhood can also be considered as north Black Mountain Ranch.
